Selena Gomez, an actress as well as a performer, has gained a lot of recognition across the world. One of the projects she's participated in with the highest successful is the Disney series he Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena's full name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on the 22nd of July 1992, located in Grand Prairie Texas. The parents of Selena are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. The mother of Selena was just sixteen at the time Selena became a mother. It was 2009 and Selena was only nine when she landed her first role in showbiz as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. So she was one of many children to have played with Barney, the famous Pink Dinosaur, an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena was a part of several episodes of seasons 7 and 8, between 2001 and2003. Selena was not the only actor to appear in Barney and his Friends at this time. Demi Loveto also worked in the series. Selena Gomez left the show to audition for movies and TV shows however she didn't have a lot of successes. She was given a brief role in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over) as well as a role that was similar to Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. The film also gave her the character in the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2006 Brain Zapped program for which she composed a song.
