Aleksei Archer is a gifted and versatile American actor. Her hometown is New York. Her birthplace was St. Louis. However, at just one day old she moved into New York City. In the year 1991, Barnard College granted her an Arts History degree. It was the very same time that she began working as a waitress for An American Place. Guarnaschelli began her culinary education by watching her mother prepare cookbooks, and testing recipes. The beginning of her culinary journey began when she observed her mother testing recipes in her kitchen while editing cookbooks. Guarnaschelli eventually became the executive chef at Butter. Guarnaschelli competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America in 2007. She fought Cat Cora at the Farmers Market Battle of 2007 and she won. Guarnaschelli has since been Judge on the show as well as in the 2011 season of The Next Iron Chef season four where she was the third place finisher. Additionally, she was eliminated in the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. Following the conclusion of season 4, she became Geoffrey Zakarian's sous-chef. She joined The Food Network's The Cooking Loft With Alex Guarnaschelli in 2008, where she instructs a small class of students on how to recreate classic dishes.
